The shape of the PhysioForma is:

• a thin and flexible dummy base that allows the mouth to close comfortably,
• an upward-facing head that leaves space for the natural position of the tongue,
• curved head that distributes the pressure of the tongue evenly over the palate,
• a depression at the base of the head and fine grooves that mimic the natural shape of the palate, helping to position the tongue in the correct position

The PhysioForma shape is the result of a collaboration between the Osservatorio Chicco Research Centre, experienced paediatricians and the Italian Society of Orthodontics.
